Here’s another poem that was submitted by Patricia. In this one she’s talking about her husband. Once again, thank you for sharing it with us Patricia.
MY HUSBAND
When we went fishing in the brook,
he gave me a rusty fishing hook,
I went downstairs and what do you think,
I found a frog in the bathroom sink.
I threw up my hands and I threw a fit
and I told my husband, “get rid of it”.
I went to the basement to explore
and look for a bucket to mop the floor.
I found a bucket and I looked in
and there was that stupid frog again.
Now for all the years with him I’ve spent,
they say I’m very tolerant,
Cause he’s as sneaky as a mouse,
but it never gets dull around my house.
