Here’s funny poem submitted by Patricia Capansky that talks about hormones.
I THINK I KNOW
I took some male hormone pills
back some years ago,
and I told my Doctor at that time,
there’s one thing I must know.
After taking these pills for a while
what changes will I see,
will I start looking like a man,
or I hope I still look like me?
Well my Doctor got quite tickled
at the questions that I asked,
but I’m sure he’d heard the same ones
from some women in the past.
So he thought the answers that he gave
would set my mind at ease,
and he also hoped his answers
all my worst fears would appease.
Since these were low dose hormones
it was wonderful to learn,
that growing whiskers on my face
should be of no concern.
But looking back on all this now,
I think there’s something shady,
cause I’ll just bet strong male hormones
is what caused the Bearded Lady.
