Here’s another beautiful poem that was submitted by Patricia Capansky. I think we can all relate to it at one point in our lives, and often times, more than just once.
TROUBLED TIMES
There are so many things Dear Lord,
we may not understand
and with so very many things
we need a helping hand.
That’s why we need Your guidance Lord
in everything we do
‘cause in these troubled times,
Dear Lord our only hope is You.
If it’s God’s will,
You answer prayer without reservation
and we know deep down inside Dear Lord
that you’re our one salvation.
The love and mercy that you’ve shown
is all that pulls us through,
so in these troubled times
our only hope is you.
And Lord while you watch over us
down here on this earth,
You’ve blessed us with so many things,
much more than we are worth.
So when we’re lifted up to Heaven
on those angel wings
and hear the Heavenly Voices
as your Choir of Angels sings;
Then our prayers have been answered
the last prayer has come true,
‘cause in these troubled times Dear Lord,
we’re going home with you.
